Starting from April 25, a special fire safety regime will be introduced in the territory of Tatarstan. It includes a ban on lighting bonfires and using pyrotechnics.

From April 25 to May 11, a special fire safety regime will be in effect in Tatarstan. The corresponding resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic has been published on the official portal of legal acts. According to the document, during this period, it will be prohibited to light bonfires, burn household waste, grass, and garbage. In areas at risk of forest fires, a ban on open flames will be introduced. It is specified that this affects the activities of restaurants, cafes, bars, and other catering establishments. In addition, in places with an increased risk of forest fires, pyrotechnics and the launching of flying paper lanterns and other items with open flames will be prohibited. It was previously reported that the first spring grass burns have already been recorded in Tatarstan. Violators face hefty fines. Last year, more than a hundred people were held accountable for similar violations. Authorities urge residents to observe safety precautions. During the special regime, forest patrols will be intensified. Mobile groups will also be operational. Residents are advised to refrain from visiting forests during these days. In case of a fire, it is necessary to immediately call the fire department. Responsibility for violations is provided for by the administrative code. Fines for individuals can reach up to 5,000 rubles. For officials – up to 50,000. For legal entities – up to 1 million rubles. It was previously reported that a referendum on changing the time zone is planned in Tatarstan.
