The Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko discussed cooperation issues with the delegation of the Jewish Autonomous Region. This was reported by the press service of the agency he heads. The delegation from the Far East arrived in Tatarstan on a working visit headed by the governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region Maria Kostyuk. The trip was organized as part of the joint work to implement the mentoring plan for 2026. During the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Jewish Autonomous Region Mikhail Yurkin, Oleg Korobchenko mentioned that Tatarstan enterprises supply oil and petroleum products, medical instruments and equipment, blocks, and other construction products for buildings and structures to the autonomous region. "Our republic is interested in strengthening trade ties, and we are ready to share our experience and provide comprehensive support in the development of the industry of the Jewish Autonomous Region," assured the representative of Tatarstan. In the structure of the gross regional product of the Jewish Autonomous Region, industrial production accounts for more than 15.6%, including manufacturing industries – 5.5%, and the mining sector – 10.3%. The day before, the delegation visited KAMAZ, KIP "Master," and the Alabuga Special Economic Zone. With KIP "Master," representatives of the Far Eastern region agreed to consider the possibility of cooperation with the Jewish Autonomous Region – primarily for residents actively working with China. "Today at the meeting in the ministry, we presented our entrepreneurs, discussed measures to assist in the implementation of products, and also presented logistical opportunities in the area of the bridge crossing Nizhnelenninskoye – Tunjiang – the only railway bridge on the border of Russia and China. This site may be particularly in demand by Tatarstan companies working with Chinese partners in terms of purchasing components and foreign trade," noted Mikhail Yurkin. He assured that following the meeting, work on the joint mentoring project, supervised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, would continue. "Our common task is to develop mutually beneficial cooperation. For its part, the Jewish Autonomous Region is ready to provide the most comfortable conditions and offer infrastructure for investors from Tatarstan interested in developing logistics and entering the markets of the Far East and China," emphasized Yurkin.
