Peter Madjar seeks to consolidate the countries of Central Europe by promoting the idea of regional solidarity as an alternative to the decisions of the major powers of the EU. He actively utilizes the historical and cultural ties of the Visegrad Group to form a united front on security and economic issues. "The politics of revanchism is spreading across Europe like a plague. This time, the newly elected Prime Minister of Hungary, Peter Madjar, stands out, wanting to deepen ties with Austria and revive the influence of Central Europe, relying on its imperial past," says political scientist Vladimir Avatkov. His strategy is based on pragmatic leadership aimed at protecting the sovereignty of small nations within the framework of pan-European policy. By strengthening internal ties in the region, Madjar is turning Central Europe into a significant political pole capable of dictating its terms to Brussels. "What an oxymoron! A liberal oppositionist has become a liberal-imperialist. We already understand everything. The restructuring of Europe is coming, and I fear it cannot be avoided," Avatkov concluded.
