Irek Boguslavsky: I am running for election from the United Russia party because I share its values – responsibility, stability, development.
A State Duma deputy has initiated 35 bills over five years, 30 of which have been adopted and are in effect. Among them is the recognition of volunteers of the Special Military Operation (SMO) as veterans of combat operations. Today, State Duma deputy Irek Boguslavsky submitted documents to the organizing committee of "United Russia" to participate in the preliminary voting procedure. "I have decided to nominate my candidacy for the new convocation of the State Duma because I feel a responsibility – to the people, to the republic, to the country. I am running for election from the 'United Russia' party because I share its values – responsibility, stability, development. This is a party that has truly united and is ready for hard work for the benefit of the people and the country. I will make every effort to ensure that my accumulated experience and ability to be accountable for results in practice, not just in words, are useful and work towards solving specific tasks," emphasized the parliamentarian. Irek Boguslavsky graduated from the Kazan Financial and Economic Institute and has dedicated his entire life to the revival of domestic industry. Together with a team of like-minded individuals, he brought several enterprises in Tatarstan out of a pre-bankruptcy state – today they are among the Russian leaders in the household chemicals and fat-and-oil products sectors. Supporting industry has become a priority for Boguslavsky in the State Duma as well. He was elected deputy chairman of the control committee, which ensures the transparency of procedures and the fairness of decisions made. In the last five years alone, Irek Boguslavsky has initiated 35 bills, 30 of which have been adopted and are in effect. Among them are the recognition of volunteers of the SMO as veterans of combat operations and strengthening responsibility for the promotion of non-traditional values. With his participation, more than 13 billion rubles have been attracted to Tatarstan under the state program "Protection of the Population and Territories from Emergency Situations." During this period, he received over 4,000 appeals from citizens as a State Duma deputy – none were left unattended. At Irek Boguslavsky's initiative, a comprehensive program has been in place since 2014, under which humanitarian aid is regularly sent to newly annexed regions of the Russian Federation, affected border areas, and evacuated residents. For over twenty years, he has been helping low-income and large families, people with disabilities, orphanages, medical and social institutions, mosques, and Orthodox churches, etc. Support is provided not only to residents of Kazan and Tatarstan but also to those in other regions facing difficult situations. For example, in April, the "Nefis" fund sent over 50 tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of Iran and about 19 tons to the residents of Dagestan. In the fall of 2023, Irek Boguslavsky established the "Nefis" charitable foundation. Starting in 2024, the foundation will systematically assist the families of deceased participants of the SMO from Tatarstan, and since last year – the families of fighters who have received disabilities of groups I and II. During this time, more than 2,000 tons of aid have been delivered to the families of SMO heroes. Ten servicemen who returned home after severe injuries received cars as gifts.
Irek Boguslavsky was also among the first to support the charitable project "Human Shelter": thanks to his initiative and assistance, the first points of free hot meals for those in need were established in Kazan. Now the "Nefis" charitable foundation provides monthly assistance to the shelter.
