      A local resident born in 1947 contacted the duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhnekamsk district. The pensioner reported that she became a victim of a multi-stage fraudulent scheme, losing a large sum of her personal savings. It has been preliminarily established that an unknown person called the victim, informing her about the payments due to her as a labor veteran. After some time, she received a call from someone claiming to be an employee of the "Gosuslugi" portal. The caller accused the pensioner of aiding a foreign state, threatened her with criminal liability, and informed her that her bank account had been blocked due to attempts to steal funds. The frightened woman began communicating with a fake investigator, who convinced her that he was ready to help her preserve her savings. Under the dictation of the fraudster, the pensioner purchased a new phone and SIM card, after which she submitted a request to withdraw money from her bank account. A few days later, she received 2,358,358 rubles in cash. On the same day, following the curator's instructions, the victim packed the money in a bag, went out to the porch of her house, and handed it over to a young man who mentioned the code word "dawn." In return, he handed her a piece of paper with the inscription "Transfer Protocol." Realizing that she had been deceived, the pensioner sought help from her nephew and then from the police. Police officers remind: no government institutions or law enforcement agencies require citizens to withdraw money from accounts, sell property, or hand over cash to couriers. If you receive such a call, immediately terminate the conversation and report it to the police at 102.
