      In the Republic of Tatarstan, the "KIBATLETIKA. KAZAN 2026" – RIN Cup competitions were held for the first time. Athletes with lower limb prostheses participated, including participants of the special military operation.

      The event pursues high goals: comprehensive support for veterans, their physical rehabilitation, and successful social adaptation through the strength of spirit and sporting mastery, which aligns with the objectives of the State Program "Sport of Russia." Kibatletika is a breakthrough direction in adaptive sports, where athletes with bionic prostheses navigate a specialized obstacle course, demonstrating explosive strength, agility, and impeccable coordination. The course simulates real-life domestic and urban scenarios: steep climbs and descents on stairs, balancing on uneven surfaces, carrying loads, overcoming barriers, and precise maneuvering in confined conditions. The discipline is aimed not only at rehabilitation but also at honing vital skills for a full everyday life.

      "Kibatletika is also about innovation. Technology has advanced significantly. Today's competitions are a kind of testing ground where we see how prostheses work in real competitive conditions. And each such race proves: timely rehabilitation and access to advanced means is not a luxury, but a right. Our Foundation does everything to ensure that everyone in need receives a high-tech prosthesis," said Guzel Udachina, head of the branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Foundation in Tatarstan.

      About thirty athletes competed in the tournament, including sixteen veterans of the special military operation. The judging panel and strict regulation control were provided by official representatives of the Union of Kibatletika of Russia.

      "When I step to the start, I overcome not only the distance but also my own doubts, pain, and limitations. I prove to myself and everyone around that life goes on, that human possibilities are limitless if there is a goal," shared his emotions veteran of the special military operation Ildar Khafiyatullov.

      Ildar lost both legs in the combat zone but did not lose faith in life. He actively plays sitting volleyball, learns new sports disciplines, and continues to prove that even after severe injuries, one can find the strength for victory.

      The awards ceremony was held in two categories: above-knee amputation and below-knee amputation.

      3rd place - Denis Savin (Yelabuga)

      In the category "Thigh Prosthesis":

      2nd place - Dinar Timerbaev (Vysokaya Gora, Tatarstan)

      3rd place - Dinar Abdulllin (Arsky district, Tatarstan)
