According to sources, the young man accidentally came into contact with the criminal during correspondence. The fraudster posed as a seller and had previously been wanted. "A friend was selling headphones, came across the fraudster, and we saw that this person was wanted," the student said. After that, he developed a plan and continued communicating with the suspect, arranging a personal meeting. He informed the police about his actions in advance. "I corresponded with him a lot and arranged a meeting," he noted. The meeting took place at one of the establishments in the city at the appointed time. Law enforcement officers participated in the operation and detained the man on the spot. It was later established that he was involved in fraud against the wives of military personnel in various regions of the country and was wanted, including in the Samara region. For assisting in solving the crime, the student received an official award. The college noted his determination and bravery. "We were pleasantly surprised that students are capable of such actions," emphasized the teacher of the educational institution, Olesya Zyumova.
