The FAS proposed to introduce a single electricity tariff for dacha owners.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has proposed to introduce a unified electricity tariff for residents of garden non-profit partnerships, regardless of their location and the form of the contract. This was reported by the press service of the agency. Specialists of the service have developed a draft resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation, which "provides for the establishment of a unified tariff for both collective contracts of gardening and horticultural partnerships, as well as for consumers who directly enter into a contract with the guaranteeing supplier, regardless of the location of the land plot – in the city, village, or rural area." At the moment, the agency reminded, reduced coefficients for electricity tariffs for residents of gardening partnerships are applied only when a collective contract is concluded with the guaranteeing supplier. If contracts are concluded individually, landowners pay for electricity at the tariffs for urban or rural residents. "If a consumer currently pays for electricity at a higher tariff as for urban or rural residents, upon the adoption of changes, the cost of electricity will be calculated for them at a lower tariff as for a resident of a gardening partnership," explained the FAS.
