      According to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov, despite unfavorable weather conditions, it was possible to carry out supplementary feeding of winter crops and perennial grasses on an area of 580 thousand hectares, which is 73% of the planned volume. Sowing work began in 36 districts of the republic, with 60 thousand hectares sown mainly with early spring crops. In the livestock sector, revenue from the sale of agricultural products reached 50 billion rubles in the first three months of the current year. Of this amount, 69% (35 billion rubles) came from livestock. From the sale of livestock and poultry, 15.7 billion rubles were received, and from eggs — 2.6 billion rubles. The poultry population increased by 3%, pigs by 5%, while the cattle population decreased by 3%, although the number of cows increased by 1 thousand heads.

      The development of the livestock industry continues in the republic: three dairy complexes for 3.8 thousand heads have been put into operation, and 19 investment projects for 20,600 cows are being implemented. There are 59 feed centers operating in 24 districts, servicing more than 217 thousand heads of cattle.
