The solemn opening of the annual "Volunteers of Victory" campaign took place at the Soldier-Liberator monument in Zainsk. The event gathered representatives of several generations of Zainsk residents united by a common goal — caring for veterans and assisting participants of the special military operation. Activists from the "Movement of the First" from the city's kindergartens, young volunteers from district schools, as well as representatives from the "Good Zainsk" center, which operates under the youth affairs department, participated in the campaign. Regina Kamalova, the deputy head of the district executive committee for social issues, welcomed those present on behalf of the head of the district and thanked the young people for their compassion. "Only when we are united, can we not be defeated! To everyone who extends a helping hand to those in need, we send our warmest wishes. Both during the Great Patriotic War and today, the unity of the people helps us to withstand any challenges," emphasized Regina Kamalova, addressing the audience. During the event, the results of volunteer activities since the beginning of the year were summarized. Just in the recent period, young volunteers provided targeted assistance in everyday matters to war and labor veterans, as well as to 33 families with individuals who have limited physical abilities. In addition, volunteers actively participate in collecting humanitarian aid for the relatives of participants in the special military operation and the fighters themselves. The most distinguished volunteers received special letters of appreciation for their contribution to the common cause.
