      Third-year students of the Zainsk Polytechnic College went on a professional tour of the city court. It turned out to be not just an excursion, but a real immersion into the legal field: the students walked through the service corridors, saw the courtrooms, and even attended an open trial in a criminal case involving bribery.

      Students of the GAPOU "Zainsk Polytechnic College" received a unique opportunity to peek into areas of the city court that ordinary citizens are not allowed to enter. The students saw the courtrooms, the judges' offices, the archive, and the jury room. The digital technologies made a special impression: electronic document management, video conferencing systems, and online broadcasts of hearings. The "behind the scenes" tour was conducted by T.M. Safronova, head of the court proceedings support department. She showed the functional areas of the building and explained how the court operates in real time.

      Dialogue with the chairman: about the profession without embellishments

      The chairman of the court, R.G. Bikmiev, spoke about the structure of the judicial system in Russia, career paths in law, and the requirements for specialists. His main point was: "Justice is not only knowledge of the laws but also responsibility for people's fates, the ability to maintain objectivity, and to make balanced decisions in difficult situations." The students were not silent: in a lively dialogue, they asked about internships, preparation for qualification exams, emotional burnout among lawyers, and real job vacancies. Bikmiev shared personal experiences and gave practical advice. Many participants admitted that the meeting shattered their stereotypes about the court's work and only strengthened their desire to work in the legal field.

      The climax: a real trial under Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

      The most vivid moment of the visit was attending an open court session under Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (bribery). The students saw the presentations of the parties, the examination of evidence, and the roles of the prosecutor and the defender in real time. This allowed them to apply their knowledge of criminal law in practice and understand how theory from textbooks turns into a living courtroom drama. After such a meeting, the third-year students no longer view jurisprudence as dry articles of law. Many began to think about targeted training, asked for contacts for internships, and some decided for the first time to seriously try their hand at the judicial system. The college and court administration agreed to continue practical-oriented meetings—the next tour may focus on civil proceedings or the work of magistrates.
