The archpastors of the Tatarstan metropolis visited the churches of Tver and venerated the local shrines.

      On May 3, after the Divine Liturgy at the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral in the city of Tver, Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Tatarstan, Bishop Pakhomiy of Chistopol and Nizhnekamsk, Bishop Mephodiy of Almetyevsk and Bugulma, and Bishop Gavriil of Naberezhnye Chelny and Yelabuga, accompanied by Metropolitan Ambrosiy of Tver and Kashin, visited the churches of Tver land.

      The hierarchs visited the Resurrection Cathedral, the Cathedral of the Ascension of the Lord, and the Cathedral of the Life-Giving Trinity. In these holy abodes, the bishops venerated the relics of the Holy Martyr Faddey (Uspensky), Archbishop of Tver, the Venerable Makariy of Kalazinsk, the Venerable Confessor Sergey (Srebryansky), and other sanctities residing in the churches.

      During the visit, Metropolitan Ambrosiy of Tver and Kashin told the guests about the history of the ancient Tver diocese and the modern life of the Tver metropolis.
