It's important which day and even what time you do it. Folk traditions have preserved clear instructions:

      Tuesday: Clean only after noon. In the morning — under no circumstances: you will wash away abundance.

      Saturday: The best day for a thorough cleaning. Water "washes away" accumulated fatigue and hidden evil eye.

      Sunday: Washing floors is prohibited! Along with the dirt, you will carry happiness out of the house.
