      In Kazan, at 76 Moskovskaya Street, an administrative building with commercial premises will be constructed. The project involves the restoration of the historical environment characteristic of the late 19th to early 20th century. The corresponding act of historical and cultural expertise has been published on the website of the RT Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites. The building will be located at the intersection with Tatarstan Street, next to the cultural heritage site - the "Cathedral Mosque" built in 1849 (Nurulla Mosque). The proposed building will be situated on the site of a previously lost two-story stone structure on Moskovskaya Street, which housed shops and production facilities. The total area will be 833 square meters. During construction, a protective retaining wall is planned to be built along the foundation of the mosque to protect the monument. The project includes landscaping the area with greenery, sidewalks, benches, and bike parking. "The historical height dominance of the cultural heritage site in its surroundings is preserved," the conclusion states. The project client is LLC "Specialized Developer 'Development Company-5'" of Arthur Khusnutdinov, son of the general director of the GC "ZhIK" and deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan Emil Khusnutdinov. The construction project was approved by the "historical commission" of the RT head back in 2022. As reported by "BUSINESS Online," it was initially planned to build a six-story building here, but after revising the project, it was decided to construct two-story apartments with commercial premises and an underground floor.

      The architects are the company "Rekon+." In the design of the building, they applied motifs from lost structures. Thus, until 1932, shops of the Sennoy Bazaar were located on Moskovskaya Street, the parameters of which were taken as the basis for the facade of the future building while preserving the large tree and square that grew here.
