Gasification in Tatarstan has risen to 35 billion rubles.

      In Tatarstan, the regional gasification program for housing, industrial, and other organizations for 2019-2028 has been updated. Target indicators, as well as the volume and sources of funding, have changed. Gas will be supplied to 40,600 households without attracting citizens' funds, and about 2,000 more will receive it in gardening non-profit partnerships (SNT). In total, the supply of blue fuel will require 35.3 billion rubles, which is almost 7 billion more than was planned a year earlier. Along with comfort, the capitalization of housing and summer cottages is growing: the presence of gas adds 10-30% to their price.

      Who will receive gas at the state's expense

      The regional gasification program for housing and communal services, industrial, and other organizations in Tatarstan was introduced six years ago and has been repeatedly adjusted since then. Recently, another government decree was issued, approving a new version of the document. What has changed in the program The main differences are changes in target indicators and the structure of the program. In particular, plans for gasification have been clarified: the number of households without attracting citizens' funds has increased from 38,810 to 40,571 (+1,761); the number of households in SNT has increased from 1,511 to 2,052 households (+541). However, within the framework of constructing intra-settlement gas pipelines, the planned indicator has decreased from 5,765.8 km to 3,340.90 km. At the same time, the length of the constructed gas pipeline branches has increased from 20 km to 22.9 km. The number of planned gas distribution stations for reconstruction has significantly increased ninefold — from 3 to 26 units. What remains unchanged As before, the increase in natural gas consumption from 2019 to 2028 is estimated at 4,019 million cubic meters. The length of constructed inter-settlement gas pipelines is 214.3 km, and in terms of laying intra-settlement gas pipelines without attracting citizens' funds, it will amount to 2,424.9 km. The gasification of consumers with natural gas has not changed: the number of settlements, apartments (households) is 405 objects. Also, the length and/or number of unowned gas distribution facilities, including those planned for registration of ownership rights in the established manner by the gas distribution organization, is 1,192.03 km.

      The program has become more expensive by almost 7 billion rubles

      The regional gasification program in Tatarstan is financed from the funds obtained from the application of a special surcharge on tariffs for gas transportation services, a single gasification operator, and PJSC Gazprom. This year, another company, LLC Engineering Solutions, has been added to the list of funding sources. The total funding for the program has increased from 28.5 billion to 35.3 billion rubles, that is, by 6.8 billion. Gazprom Transgaz Kazan will allocate 18.2 billion from the special surcharge and another 7.7 billion as the single operator for the gasification program. The company Engineering Solutions will allocate 137.83 million rubles. Gazprom will transfer 3.5 billion rubles under the same program, and Engineering Solutions will contribute 55 million only this year.       Tatarstan residents have broken the daily gas consumption record three times

      In Tatarstan, the number of households subject to gasification without attracting citizens' funds is increasing annually as part of the program. For example, in the initial plan-schedule for 2021-2023, gasification of 18,000 households was planned, by 2025 the potential for gasification was estimated at 38,800 households, and now it has increased to over 40,600. The main consumers of natural gas are the energy complex and housing and communal services, accounting for more than half of the total volume. In recent years, gasification under the program has been carried out in several municipalities of Tatarstan, including the Tukayevsky and Nizhnekamsky districts. For example, in the first district, 171 residential houses in the New settlement were recently connected to blue fuel, and in the second — SNT Michurintsev. In 2025, the gasification plan-schedule within the program included 81 SNT and about 700 households. Among the conditions for participation in the program are the registration of ownership rights to the residential house and land plot, as well as the presence of a protocol of a general meeting of SNT members on the decision of gasification. In 2025, Gazprom Transgaz Kazan transported 208 billion cubic meters of gas. In the republic, more than 1.6 million subscribers receive blue fuel for their homes.       Who will benefit from gas, and who will find it impractical

      In addition to being an important factor in the economic development of the republic's territories, gasification significantly increases the market value of real estate — especially in suburban and rural areas. However, it is impossible to do this entirely without investments from the population. — Bringing gas to an SNT plot costs about 200-250 thousand rubles, including a heat unit with a boiler. This is the approximate price of the issue. At the same time, statements are often made that gas is "brought to the house for free." In practice, I have not yet encountered cases where this was done entirely at the state's expense. Even if the pipe is brought to the boundary of the plot, it is still necessary to dig trenches, lay communications across the plot, and hire contractors, noted Yuri Chikirov, general director of the company Real Agency. Homeowners will still benefit, thanks to the capitalization of housing. The presence of gas adds 10-30% to the price of real estate. However, much depends on the location. "If the plot is liquid, the costs of gasification will definitely pay off — one can talk about a ratio of '1 to 1' or even higher. That is, the value will increase by at least the amount of costs, and possibly with some coefficient. But if the plot is illiquid, then it does not matter whether gas is supplied there or a 'golden toilet' is installed — it will not add value
