      The State Council of Tatarstan has published a new issue of the project "The Story of One Exhibit," dedicated to the deputies of the Supreme Council of the TASSR who participated in the Great Patriotic War and worked in the rear. As noted in the republic's parliament, out of 143 deputies of the first convocation of the Supreme Council of the TASSR, 42 were mobilized to the front. The others continued their work in the rear, engaging in organizational and propaganda activities, as well as providing support to the Red Army soldiers and their families.

      The video explains that during the war, the issues of organizing the country's defense, restructuring industry for military purposes, supplying the population, and military mobilization came to the forefront. The Supreme Council of the TASSR held two sessions during the war years – on July 10, 1943, and June 20, 1944. It is noted that organizing the meetings was not easy, as many deputies were at the front.

      The State Council reminded that in early 1942, under the leadership of the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the TASSR, Galey Dinmukhametov, a republican commission was created to collect gifts for the soldiers and commanders of the Red Army. Delegations were sent to the front, one of which was personally led by Dinmukhametov, who visited the Kalinin Front. During the war years, he received more than 300 letters from soldiers and officers and personally responded to them.

      The video also mentions that during the war, dozens of large enterprises were evacuated from Leningrad, Moscow, Odessa, Kyiv, Kherson, and other cities of the country to the Tatar ASSR. This contributed to the development of new industries in the republic, including instrument engineering, watchmaking, and cotton production.

      In addition, the republic accepted more than 270,000 residents from temporarily occupied areas of the country. The hospitals of Tatarstan saved the lives of 340,000 soldiers and officers, of whom 200,000 returned to duty after treatment.

      The republic's parliament emphasized that 14 deputies of the Supreme Council of the TASSR did not return from the front. Many front-line deputies were awarded orders and medals for their courage and bravery.
