      At the initiative of local activists and with the support of the district leadership, more than 500 fish were released into the lake near the Tarn-Var microdistrict. In Nurlat, the implementation of environmental initiatives aimed at preserving and replenishing the natural resources of the area continues. Last weekend, the annual fish stocking event took place at the water body near the Tarn-Var microdistrict. This event, which has become a good tradition for the city, is being held for the ninth time. The organizer of the event is consistently the individual entrepreneur, owner of the "Fisherman's Home" store, Ildar Khasanzhanov. The choice of the venue this year, as last year, fell on the water body at Tarn-Var. "This place has already become dear to our fishing community. Every year we hold the winter fishing festival 'Balık-fest' here, so we consider it important not only to catch fish but also to take care of its population. Stocking is our contribution to the future of this water body," emphasized Ildar Khasanzhanov. The event has a truly popular character: the funds for purchasing fish were collected by the residents of Nurlat themselves. This year, 104 people contributed. With the collected money—over 70 thousand rubles—a batch of fish was purchased from a specialized private fish farm in the Ulyanovsk region. The head of the Nurlat district, Damir Ishkineev, participated in the environmental event. He personally released several fish into the water, noting the importance of such initiatives for fostering a careful attitude towards nature among the younger generation. A total of 170 kilograms of live cargo were sent into free swimming during the event. This includes more than 500 large individuals, which, according to specialists' forecasts, should produce their first offspring already in the current season. This will significantly improve the ecosystem of the water body and make it even more attractive for outdoor enthusiasts. The event turned into a real family holiday. Children particularly enjoyed the process: armed with buckets, they helped release the fish, watching as it swam into the depths. The organizers also took care of the participants' leisure—after the work was completed, everyone was invited to the table. Hot fish soup cooked over a fire and fragrant tea became an excellent conclusion to a bright and beneficial day.
