      Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, federal coordinator of the "Entrepreneurship" project of the "United Russia" party Alfiya Kogogina inspected the progress of work on several socially significant projects in the Mendeleevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. "The large-scale construction and reconstruction of socially significant facilities in the fields of education, healthcare, sports, culture, infrastructure development, and landscaping is being carried out thanks to the active participation of the leadership of the Mendeleevsky district in national projects and cooperation with the city-forming enterprise. The results of the transformations are seen and appreciated by the residents of Mendeleevsk, and most importantly, the continuous improvement of the living environment is not stopping but gaining momentum," Kogogina noted. Together with the secretary of the Mendeleevsky local branch of "United Russia," head of the district Robert Iskandarov, and party activists, the State Duma deputy monitored the construction of a shallow pool, the restoration of the Local History Museum, and the reconstruction of Tatarstan Street. The monitoring participants discussed compliance with deadlines and the quality of work performed.

      The shallow pool will be attached to the "Neptune" pool building. The total area of the facility is about 940 square meters. It will be 2 stories high, with a gym area of 356 square meters and a pool area of 144.7 square meters. The cost of construction work for the facility is 156 million rubles, 100 million of which is allocated from the republic's budget, with the remaining funds from JSC "Ammonium." The pool will be designed for children aged 0 to 7 years. The completion of construction work is scheduled for summer.

      The project's feature will be a shallow pool designed for classes with children from two years old. Thus, parents will have the opportunity to introduce their toddlers to swimming from an early age. Restoration and renovation work on the Local History Museum building continues. The cost of repair and restoration work is 258.6 million rubles. Funding is also coming from the Tatarstan budget – 202.6 million rubles and "Ammonium" – 56 million rubles. The facility is in the final stages of repair and restoration work.
