      Tatarstan has become one of the first regions in Russia to systematically develop mono-cities. This was stated by State Duma deputy from the republic, Alfiya Kogogina. According to her, Tatarstan was one of the first to join the federal program "Comprehensive Development of Mono-Cities" and was able to attract significant funding for the development of territories. Today, the republic has the status of mono-cities for Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Zelenodolsk, Yelabuga, Mendeleevsk, Chistopol, and Kamskie Polyany. Kogogina noted that participation in the federal program allowed for the modernization of infrastructure and the creation of new opportunities for business. As an example, she cited Naberezhnye Chelny, which has been recognized as one of the best mono-cities in the country. The deputy separately emphasized the role of Tatarstan in the development of industrial parks and support for technological entrepreneurship. According to her, the experience of the republic later formed the basis for federal business support programs and industrial infrastructure.
