      The annual children's rugby tournament "Kazan Kremlin Cup" will take place in Kazan on May 16-17. The competition will feature 36 teams and over 500 young athletes from all over Russia, reports the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan. The tournament will traditionally unite the strongest children's rugby teams in the country and will become one of the largest events in children's rugby in Russia. Teams representing Tatarstan at the tournament include: "Energia" (Kazan), "Tornado" (Naberezhnye Chelny), the Naberezhnye Chelny team, "Polytechnic" (Kazan), the Republic of Tatarstan team, as well as the Republican Sports School for Rugby (Kazan). The competitions are held among teams consisting of boys and girls born in 2014-2015. Participants in the tournament will include teams from Moscow, the Moscow region, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Penza region, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, the Republic of Mari El, the Chuvash Republic, Perm Krai, Kaliningrad, and Krasnoyarsk. Over the course of two days, participants and spectators can expect intense matches, a sports festival, and an atmosphere of true team spirit. The competitions will take place at the "Tulpar" stadium.

      The organizers of the tournament are the All-Russian Public Organization "Rugby Federation of Russia," the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Kazan, and the Regional Sports Public Organization "Rugby Federation of Tatarstan" with the assistance of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Budgetary Institution of Additional Education "Republican Sports School for Rugby," and others.
