      Leaders of the global Islamic financial audit have studied the educational potential of Tatarstan and discussed the training of future experts in the field of Sharia law. On May 12, as part of the business program of the XVII International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum," a high-ranking delegation from the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) visited the Bulgarian Islamic Academy. The group was led by the chairman of the Board of Trustees, Sheikh Ibrahim bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the executive director for standards implementation, Farhan Noor. The guests were accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, and the head of the Spassky district, Roman Islanov. The visit began with a tour of the White Mosque in the city of Bolgar. Imam-Khatib Ali Hazrat Taziev conducted an excursion for the delegates, telling them about the architectural features and spiritual significance of this place for the region. Then, within the walls of the Academy, Rector Farhat Khusnutdinov acquainted the guests with the key areas of the university's activities. The main topic of discussion was the integration of the Academy into the global Islamic space. The rector emphasized that the Islamic Academy actively develops international cooperation and joint research projects while carefully preserving the traditions of the domestic theological school. A detailed analysis of the curricula was conducted by BIA lecturer and AAOIFI certified expert Muhamed Ayman Al-Zahrawi. He presented disciplines dedicated to Islamic law and finance, which are the foundation for training modern masters and doctors. During the meeting with students, delegation members were able to personally verify the high level of knowledge of the students and assess the modern conditions created at the Academy for in-depth scientific research work. Concluding the visit, Sheikh Ibrahim bin Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed deep satisfaction with the quality of the educational process. He called the Bulgarian Islamic Academy a unique center, noting the important role of Tatarstan in shaping a new intellectual elite of the Muslim community capable of working at the international level.
