Kazan brought together young entrepreneurs from OIC countries at the XII International Forum.

      The XII Forum of Young Entrepreneurs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation opened in Kazan as part of the International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum." The platform once again brought together young entrepreneurs, experts, representatives of development institutions, and government officials from more than ten countries, becoming a space for discussing new forms of international cooperation, youth entrepreneurship, and digital transformation. The Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Kadyrov, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He emphasized that over the years, the forum has become not just a discussion platform but a place where real international partnerships are born and joint projects are launched: "Our platform, which unites young entrepreneurs from different countries and regions, provides an opportunity to establish new contacts, find partners, and expand the geography of their business. When you have a partner and friend in another country, developing projects becomes faster and more efficient." The Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Yegor Litvinenko, thanked Tatarstan for organizing the forum: "Today, the topic of entrepreneurship on the international stage sounds like one of the key issues. It is young entrepreneurs who will continue to build interaction between states, forming new economic ties and joint projects." He also noted that the forum is becoming an important communication point for young leaders, where they can not only discuss ideas but also find partners for further implementation of initiatives. The General Director of the Eurasian Youth Forum of the OIC, Rafik Ismailov, emphasized the need to support youth projects in the regions and create conditions for the development of young people outside large cities. According to him, the development of youth infrastructure and entrepreneurial initiatives directly affects the reduction of youth migration and the sustainability of territories. The Director of the Youth Center "Sälet," Aigul Gabdrakhmanova, noted that cooperation with international partners continues far beyond the forum and is built into long-term joint projects. She also emphasized that it is important for participants to see Tatarstan not only as a business platform but also as a territory of opportunities for life and development. In the second part of the program, an international discussion took place with the participation of representatives from investment funds, accelerators, government bodies, and startup ecosystems from OIC countries. Experts discussed the development of technological entrepreneurship, investment mechanisms, the role of artificial intelligence, and new opportunities for youth in the global market. Participants paid special attention to issues of digital safety for teenagers and involving youth in legal formats of the digital economy. This topic was raised by Azat Kadyrov, who asked the discussion participants how states and society can teach teenagers to earn through honest work in the digital environment and resist the influence of toxic content and criminal schemes on the internet. The topic elicited a lively response from international experts. Participants spoke about the need to create clear alternatives for youth: educational programs, opportunities for self-realization, mentorship, access to technology, and offline communities. Representatives from Egypt, the UAE, Uzbekistan, and Malaysia agreed that supporting youth entrepreneurship today is not only an economic task but also a question of sustainable development of society.

      The XII Forum of Young Entrepreneurs of the OIC continued its work in the format of expert sessions, project presentations, and business meetings, uniting young leaders ready to form new international connections and jointly respond to the challenges of the times.
