      Tomorrow, May 18, in Kazan, the second meeting with residents will take place in the "Tebriz" park. Here, the project team will present the updated concept of improvement, taking into account the suggestions and comments collected during the first discussion. The updating process has already begun: after the initial meeting, specialists systematized feedback from citizens, developed solutions, and prepared a revised project. Its discussion will take place right in the park, allowing residents to visually imagine the future changes. Key decisions will be made jointly with the public, after which construction work will begin.

      At the same time, a thorough examination of the green plantings is underway. Experts from the Institute of Ecology, Biotechnology, and Natural Resource Management of KFU are using a resistograph to check the condition of trees from the inside. The device records the resistance of the wood and reveals hidden cavities, creating a "cardiogram of the tree." Previously, specialists identified plants with rot, dangerous tilts, and damage. Based on the results of the examination, a list of emergency trees for removal will be determined.

      The "Tebriz" park is located at the intersection of Dekabristov and Vostaniya streets. The public space was created in 1949 and has remained an important attraction for residents for decades due to its location on a busy pedestrian route.

      In 2025, the area was chosen for renewal following an online vote by residents. The park became the winner of the selection of public spaces planned for improvement as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" and the program for the development of public spaces in Tatarstan.
