Gardener Maria Garapshina found the perfect way to ease her labor and save her back from strain - high beds. Cardboard is laid at the bottom, followed by a layer of branches, ash, and soil.

      Various crops can be grown in such beds. Fragrant strawberries, greens, carrots, as well as zucchini and cabbage will feel great here. According to Maria, now is the perfect time for cabbage.

      However, it is better to plant tomatoes in a greenhouse for now. Before that, it is recommended to gradually harden the plant. Many gardeners are frightened by the elongated seedlings, but there is nothing critical about it. The main thing is to plant them correctly.

      Before planting, tomatoes should not be watered for about 10 hours. This will help them retain flexibility and protect against stem damage. An experienced gardener prefers to plant them in a checkerboard pattern.

      Right now, the plants that were planted in winter need care. Yellowing garlic leaves indicate a lack of nutrients.
