According to eyewitnesses, a truck crane was descending Chekhov Street towards Naberezhnaya Street, but for unknown reasons collided with a passenger car, after which it grazed a construction trailer at the ferry crossing and nearly fell into the Volga.

      An ambulance arrived at the scene, and medical personnel are providing first aid to the driver of the passenger vehicle.
