The scenario of a drone attack on an electrical substation was practiced at the PRZ.

      At the press-frame plant of PJSC "KAMAZ," an on-site training exercise was held on the anti-terrorist protection of the enterprise's energy supply facility. The scenario of the exercises involved a drone strike on the main step-down substation GPP-15. Due to the shock wave, the distribution device was partially destroyed, a fire broke out, and two people were injured. The main difficulty for the rescuers was that the attacked substation was under high voltage. Actions needed to be taken quickly and cohesively: while the duty dispatcher activated the sirens and transmitted alarm signals to emergency services and the plant management, the security service, along with Rosgvardiya fighters, set up a cordon. The plant's evacuation commission operated like clockwork – 248 employees from the workshops descended into the protective structure in 3 minutes and 48 seconds.

      Meanwhile, specialists from "Tatneft-Energosbyt" prepared a safe zone for the firefighters. The energy workers de-energized the damaged lines and grounded the equipment to allow rescuers access for firefighting. At the same time, fire crews conducted reconnaissance in the main building of the plant, found two injured individuals, and handed them over to medics at the deployed medical post. After that, the fire was extinguished.

      A total of 291 people and five units of special equipment participated in the training. The results of the exercises were summarized by the consultant to the deputy general director for security of PJSC "KAMAZ," Nikolai Bannov. He positively assessed the actions of all participants and noted the coordinated work of emergency services and plant personnel. The chief engineer of LLC "Tatneft-Energosbyt," Sergey Kuzmin, also noted that such training helps to respond more quickly to real emergencies at energy facilities.
