This was reported at a seminar of the National Scientific Center for Competence in Counteracting the Illegal Turnover of Industrial Products (NSCC). In other regions of the PFD, the share of illegal cigarette turnover was as follows: Nizhny Novgorod Region — 5.9%; Kirov Region — 3.6%; Mari El — 4.3%; Chuvash Republic — 1.7%; Mordovia — 10.0%; Perm Krai — 8.6%; Udmurt Republic — 3.3%; Bashkortostan — 12.3%; Orenburg Region — 7.8%; Ulyanovsk Region — 10.6%; Penza Region — 17.8%; Saratov Region — 21.2%; Samara Region — 8.5%. The losses of the federal budget from the illegal turnover of tobacco for 2025 amounted to 89.96 billion rubles across Russia, including 8 billion rubles in the Northwestern Federal District.
