      In the Kaybitsky District of Tatarstan, protection zones for four historical monuments have been approved, reports the RT Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage. The corresponding resolution of the RT Cabinet defines new rules for the use of territories around significant cultural heritage sites. Four historical objects are under protection: the Assumption-Bogoroditskaya Church of 1910 in the village of Maloye Podberezye, the Kazan-Bogoroditskaya Church of 1857 in the village of Muratovo, a church building from the first third of the 19th century, and the estate of Lebedev A.E. from the first half of the 19th century — both in the village of Turminskoye.       Strict restrictions are being introduced in the areas around the monuments. For example, in the protection zone of the Kazan-Bogoroditskaya Church in the village of Muratovo, the construction of capital structures taller than 9 meters is prohibited.

      There are also requirements for finishing materials: ceramic granite, siding, metal, and plastic are banned. Only traditional materials — wooden planks, brick, and their imitations — are allowed. Even the color solutions for building facades are regulated. The new rules will come into effect on September 1, 2026.
