Reports and elections in the Association of Enterprises and Industrialists of Tatarstan

      On May 22, 2026, the Chairperson of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elena Kuzmicheva, participated in the reporting and election meeting of the Association of Enterprises and Industrialists of Tatarstan, which took place today in Kazan, at the Kazan Helicopter Plant. The event was attended by the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin, the Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Sergey Mytenkov, and others.

      In his opening speech to the members of the Association of Enterprises and Industrialists of Tatarstan, the President of the Association, Alexander Lavrentyev, presented the results of the activities of the Association of Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023-2025, highlighting key achievements. Among them were the promotion of products from Tatarstan enterprises, the implementation of innovative technologies, the expansion of educational initiatives, and the strengthening of the Association's positions at the interregional level.

      Alexander Lavrentyev reminded that the organization was founded in 1990 and includes more than 100 enterprises as members of the Association of Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan. More than 70% of the production volumes are produced by enterprises that are members of the Association.

      During the reporting and election meeting, a vote was held, resulting in Alexander Lavrentyev being re-elected as President of the Association for the next three years. The Vice Presidents of the Association of Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan and the composition of the Council of the organization, which includes representatives of the largest industrial enterprises in Tatarstan, were also approved.

      The President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, speaking before the members of the Association of Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan, emphasized that the Association plays an important role in the economic development of the republic.

      - An effective dialogue between the state, business, and professional communities has been organized in the republic, - he said. - We work as a united team, always open to interaction with our enterprises, ready to provide the necessary assistance.

      Rustam Minnikhanov expressed gratitude to the representatives of the directorate for their active participation in formulating proposals to improve the operations of enterprises in the republic.

      - In the current challenging conditions, the Association is addressing problematic issues. We have managed to restructure logistics and production to meet the new challenges of the times. The industrial production index for 2025 turned out to be quite good. There is also good dynamics for the first four months of this year. Behind this lies the enormous work of our enterprises and labor collectives, - he said.

      Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that 2026 has been declared the Year of Military and Labor Valor in Tatarstan. In the republic, 27 enterprises have been awarded the honorary title of "Enterprise of Labor Valor. 1941-1945."

      - Today, the teams of our enterprises continue the glorious traditions laid down by previous generations of factory workers, - he said and expressed gratitude to all producers who ensure the production of state orders.

      I am confident that through our joint efforts we will cope with all the tasks that lie ahead of us today, said Rustam Minnikhanov.

      During the reporting meeting, representatives of several large industrial enterprises in the region delivered reports.

      Elena Kuzmicheva, Chairperson of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted in her speech that the more than 30-year path of tripartite relations shows that social partnership in Tatarstan has been established and is functioning effectively.

      - In the distant nineties, when the entire system of labor relations was changing, the republic made the only correct historical choice – not to sever ties between trade unions, employers, and the authorities, but to build them on the principles of tripartism. And today we see the positive results of this choice, she noted.

      According to the trade union leader, the unique institution of social partnership has allowed avoiding social upheavals during the most acute economic periods, making the Republican tripartite agreement a productive document, where each section is an area of responsibility, where trade unions, employers, and the government act as equal partners.

      - We have learned to listen to each other, even when interests are objectively different. And this is our common achievement, and the Association of Enterprises and Industrialists of the Republic of Tatarstan plays a special role in the system of social partnership. Moreover, I would say that without the Association, social dialogue would be incomplete, and often impossible! - the speaker emphasized. - It is the Association that has consistently, professionally, and without populism conveyed the real problems of industry to government bodies for many years... We, the trade unions, are grateful to you for your readiness for constructive dialogue, even in difficult, sometimes controversial situations.

      Elena Kuzmicheva elaborated on the fruitful work of the authorities, the employers' association, and trade unions within the framework of the Republican Tripartite Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labor Relations and its working groups, which allows for the prompt resolution of important issues for the citizens of the republic.

      This concerns both the minimum wage, the development of the mentoring institution, support for workers with family responsibilities, the development of the vocational orientation system, and support for workers participating in the special military operation, as well as their families.

      The trade union leader particularly noted that the socio-economic stability of Tatarstan and the growth of real incomes of workers over the year have been made possible thanks to the position and professionalism of the team of the Association of Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      At the same time, Elena Kuzmicheva emphasized the long-overdue need to create employers' associations in every municipal district of Tatarstan so that the territorial agreements on conducting socio-economic policies and developing social partnership are legitimate.

      In conclusion of her speech, Elena Ivanovna expressed her sincere gratitude to the President of the Association, Alexander Lavrentyev, and Alexey Pakhomov, who headed the executive directorate of the Association during the most challenging periods – when the pandemic, sanctions, and structural transformation of the economy required employers not just to survive, but to maintain labor collectives.

      - I am confident that the established relationships between trade unions and employers will continue to strengthen for the benefit of developing constructive dialogue in addressing socio-economic issues and creating decent working conditions for every worker, - summarized the trade union leader. - Yes, social dialogue is not always easy. But over more than 30 years, we have proven: when trade unions, employers, and the authorities speak the same language, the economy grows, people are protected, and the republic moves forward! Together – we are strong!

      At the end of the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan and Gratitude from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      In addition, awards from the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs were presented by the Vice President of the RSPP, Sergey Mytenkov.
