Vacancy for the position of Senior Researcher at 0.5 FTE at the Scientific and Coordination Center for Competencies in Unmanned Aerial Systems of the State Budgetary Institution "Institute of Applied Researches of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan"

      1. Place and date of the competition. The competition will be held on June 25, 2026, at the address: Kazan, Baumana St., 20, office 119. 2. Start and end date for accepting applications for participation in the competition: - start of acceptance: May 22, 2026; - end of acceptance: June 18, 2026. THE COMPETITION IS ANNOUNCED FOR THE POSITION OF SENIOR RESEARCHER OF THE SCIENTIFIC COORDINATION CENTER FOR COMPETENCIES IN THE FIELD OF UNMANNED AVIATION SYSTEMS OF THE IPI AN RT AT 0.5 RATE. Qualification requirements: Senior researcher: a PhD or Doctor of Science degree, presence of theoretical scientific papers published after the defense of the doctoral (candidate) dissertation. Availability in the last 5 years of at least: - 1 published (or prepared manuscript) monograph, or prepared textbooks, teaching aids, textological collections, sources, compiled dictionaries, catalogs, etc.; - 1 article written and published in publications (including articles confirmed for publication) included in the database of foreign cited publications (Scopus and Web of Science); - 3 articles written and published in publications included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation; - 8 articles written and published in publications included in the database of the Russian Index of Scientific Citing; or 10 articles written and published in collections of scientific works, conference materials, seminars, round tables; in textological collections, dictionaries, etc.; - 1 prepared analytical report, expert opinions, reports, and other materials, or 1 conducted sociological study, or 2 produced and prepared scientific products (technologies, methods, databases, software products, patents, descriptions, catalogs, digitized materials), or participation in 5 organized and conducted scientific expeditions, rescue operations, reconnaissance work; - participation in grants from the RFBR, RNF, projects within the framework of republican competitions, contractual works, or state republican programs. Professional field: fundamental research in the field of astronomy and astrophysics. 4. Tasks and evaluation criteria: Tasks: 4.1. Organization of leadership of a group of employees performing planned research and/or conducting independent scientific research and development as an executor; 4.2. Scientific leadership in conducting research on the most important fundamental scientific problems in profile areas, direct participation in their implementation, including: - research of X-ray radiation sources based on observations from ground-based optical telescopes; - development of a mathematical description of the processes of accretion of matter in close binary star systems; - study of physical parameters of stars with coronal activity; - preparation and implementation of a program for optical identifications of X-ray sources in deep space; - development and design of equipment for remote astronomical observations on a 1.5-meter telescope installed in Turkey; 4.3. Scientific research expertise of completed research and development in profile areas; 4.4. Participation in the preparation and advanced training of scientific personnel in the relevant field of knowledge; 4.5. Writing and scientific editing of articles in the field of astronomy, astrophysical processes, and phenomena in deep space. Evaluation criteria: - experience in implementing fundamental scientific research and projects in the field of astrophysics; - presence of profile publications in publications indexed in databases, VAK RF, RINC, and presentations at conferences in profile areas; - readiness to conduct regular training and improve the qualifications of specialists; - computer skills: confident user of office programs. 5. Terms of the employment contract. An employment contract for a fixed term will be concluded with the winner of the competition. Salary for 1 rate: 30,800.00 rubles/month. Provision of official housing, compensation for housing rental expenses, and travel expenses are not provided. 6.
