At the same time as the Day of Arafah, the Days of Takbir al-Tashrik will begin and will last until May 30. During these days, starting from the morning prayer on May 26 until the afternoon prayer on May 30, after each obligatory prayer, believers recite the Takbir al-Tashrik (a total of 23 times):
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahi al-hamd.
The meaning: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no deity but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise."
Men recite the Takbirs aloud, while women whisper them. May the Almighty accept our good intentions, good deeds, and fasts, and allow us to meet Eid al-Adha!
