On the Day of Arafah, pilgrims from Tatarstan performed a collective dua for the fighters of the Special Military Operation, for the head of the republic, and for the well-being of the ummah and the Motherland.

      Today, the 9th of Zul-Hijjah (May 26), is observed as the Day of Arafah – the day of standing in the valley of Arafat during the Hajj. Pilgrimage to these places is an integral part of the sacred Hajj. Pilgrims from Tatarstan have arrived at Arafah and are spending the entire day in prayers. Traditionally, the pilgrims of "DUM RT Hajj" perform collective du'a here for the well-being of the ummah and the homeland. In their supplications, the pilgrims asked the Almighty for protection for the fighters of the Special Military Operation (SMO), their safe return to their families, and a swift victory over the enemy, for the prosperity of Russia, and mercy for the fallen defenders of the country.

      Separately, the pilgrims prayed for the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov: in full unanimity, the believers asked Allah for support in all good deeds and initiatives for the benefit of Islam, the development of the republic, and the preservation of interethnic peace and harmony in society, as well as rewards for his efforts and assistance in organizing the Hajj for 200 Tatarstan residents – participants of the SMO and their families.

      In their prayers, the Muslims also did not forget to ask for peace, tranquility, and an end to the suffering of their fellow believers in the Muslim ummah.

      After the conclusion of the Day of Arafah, at sunset on the 9th day of the month of Zul-Hijjah, the pilgrims will head to the valley of Muzdalifah to spend the night under the open sky. Tomorrow they will return to the valley of Mina to continue the Hajj rituals by throwing pebbles only at Jamrat al-Aqabah.

      At all stages of the Hajj, the pilgrims from Tatarstan are accompanied by 20 doctors of various specialties, who have been assigned by the leadership of the republic.
