      The regional stage of the All-Russian professional skills competition "Best in Profession" in the nomination "Mason" has concluded in Kazan. The competition took place at the Kazan College of Construction, Architecture, and Municipal Economy, where representatives from leading construction companies in the republic gathered: "Ak Tash," "Ellada," and "Stroitel."

       Participants and requirements Strict criteria were established for participation in the competition: contestants were required to have at least 3 years of work experience and meet additional educational requirements. This allowed for the gathering of truly experienced masters of their craft. Tests and tasks The competition consisted of two parts: practical and theoretical. During the practical test, participants performed bricklaying as outlined by professional standards. The theoretical part included questions on work organization and labor protection, which is an important aspect in the construction industry. The winner of the regional stage was Dmitry Dmitriev, a mason from LLC "SK Ellada." He noted that the competition tasks did not seem difficult to him. Dmitry shared: We laid three rows of the plinth, waterproofing, and two modules. The questions on labor protection were also all familiar because we pay very serious attention to safety compliance. Family dynasty and achievements Dmitry Dmitriev has been working in the construction industry for eight years and continues a family dynasty. His father was a builder, and he passed on many nuances of the profession to Dmitry. He started his career with cottages and then moved on to multi-story buildings. Together with his friendly team, he participated in the construction of residential complexes such as "Yaratam," "Sunny City," "Krylovka-Park," and "Dubravnaya 2.0."

      

       Now Dmitry will represent Tatarstan at the federal stage of the competition, which will take place in the third quarter of this year. Significance of the competition The All-Russian competition "Best in Profession" has been held since 2012 and covers the most in-demand working professions in various sectors of the economy. Starting in 2025, it will become part of the federal program "Labor Man" of the national project "Personnel," highlighting its importance for enhancing the prestige of skilled labor and developing professional skills among workers.
