At the 246 km mark of the "Kazan-Orenburg" highway (Almetyevsky district), a Kia driver, according to preliminary data, attempted to overtake in a zone marked by road sign 3.20 "Overtaking prohibited" and collided with a Renault vehicle, which was also maneuvering to overtake.
As a result of the accident, the Kia driver died from injuries at the scene, and three people in the Renault sustained injuries.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
