In Tatarstan, the export of rapeseed oil to China has increased by 57%.

      The export of rapeseed oil from Tatarstan to China continues to grow. Since the beginning of 2026, enterprises in the republic have sent over 8,800 tons of unrefined rapeseed oil to the PRC, which is 57% more compared to the same period last year. Before shipment, each batch of products underwent laboratory control. Specialists checked the oil for compliance with China's requirements, as well as Russian quality and safety standards. The studies included analysis for toxic elements, pesticides, radionuclides, mycotoxins, and the presence of GMOs. According to the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Assessment of Safety and Quality of Agricultural Products" in Tatarstan, all checked batches met the established requirements. International certificates of quality, safety, weight, and confirmation of the absence of GMOs were issued for the products. As specialists note, Tatarstan rapeseed oil is in demand in the Chinese market due to its high quality and content of beneficial substances, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamin E, and phytosterols. In addition, the oil is produced from non-GMO rapeseed varieties. Besides rapeseed oil, Tatarstan exports peas, oilseed flax, meal, and beet pulp to China.
