      June 1 is celebrated annually as International Children's Day. In anticipation of this holiday, the State Autonomous Institution "Republican Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases" of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Charitable Foundation "NOT SCARY," held a series of festive events for children and families affected by HIV.

      On May 31, a baby performance "Penguin Di" from the "Uzhik" theater took place for the youngest participants and their parents.

      The therapeutic fairy tale about a little penguin who goes to kindergarten for the first time helped children and adults discuss important topics: fear of the new, support from loved ones, responsibility, and trust. A special feature of the performance was the active participation of children in the events: the kids interacted with the characters, explored the space, played, and experienced the story together with the characters. Each child received a memorable gift.

      On June 1, a large family celebration for children and teenagers took place at the Unified Support Headquarters.

      Participants enjoyed:

      - a scientific cryo-show;

      - making ice cream by hand;

      - a meeting on social media management;

      - a psychological training on developing financial thinking;

      - a bubble show;

      - face painting;

      - gifts and a festive atmosphere.

      The events brought together children of different ages and became not only an opportunity to spend time interestingly but also a space for communication, development, support, and the formation of positive experiences in interaction with peers.

      For children living with chronic illnesses, it is especially important to feel part of a community, to discover their abilities, to find friends, and to receive positive emotions. Such events help strengthen a child's psychological well-being, develop self-confidence, and create conditions for a full and happy childhood.
