A wartime worker from Tatarstan celebrated her 95th anniversary.
Resident of the Zelenodolsky District of Tatarstan, Alexandra Artemyeva, is celebrating her 95th birthday today. Her childhood coincided with the years of the Great Patriotic War, and she began working on a collective farm at the age of ten, helping adults. Alexandra Ilyinichna was born in the Raifsky rural settlement in a large family. After the war, she started working on the railway as a switchwoman and dedicated many years to this profession, remaining in her job until retirement. At 21, she started a family, and in 1955, the couple had a son, Anatoly. Now the celebrant lives at home, with relatives helping to care for her. Despite her advanced age, Alexandra Ilyinichna moves around the apartment independently.
