At the "Kosmos" cinema in Zainsk, children were informed about fire safety.

      The children were not only explained the rules of behavior during a fire and the causes of fires, but they were also given the opportunity to try on firefighting gear and to attempt to extinguish a simulated fire with a fire extinguisher. At the "Kosmos" cinema in the city of Zainsk, a conversation was held before the screening with the children from school No. 4 of the school camp, as well as with their teachers, on the topic: "What is a fire?", "How to behave during a fire", "Primary fire extinguishing means", "Fire safety at home", "Fire safety outdoors." They explained that a fire is dangerous due to open flames, high air temperatures, toxic gases, smoke, and other adverse factors. During the conversation, they discussed the causes of fires, recalled the existing fire safety rules, and the number to call in case of a fire. An employee of the 88th Fire Station of the 11th Fire and Rescue Unit of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Tatarstan demonstrated firefighting equipment. The children listened with great interest and tried on personal protective equipment (hooded masks). Next, an evacuation was conducted from the "Kosmos" cinema. Evacuating people during a fire is a forced process of organized self-movement of people directly outside or to a safe zone from premises where there may be dangerous fire factors affecting people, or when there is an immediate threat of such exposure.

      Then, once outside, they tried to extinguish the simulated fire using primary fire extinguishing means (fire extinguishers). Each child had the opportunity to personally test the fire extinguisher. At the end of the event, everyone concluded that the main way to protect against fire is not to become its cause. Adhering to fire safety rules will help preserve health and life. A total of 98 children participated in this event, including teachers.
