"Our home is a place of strength": how a school love turned into an exemplary family

      Vyacheslav and Ekaterina Andreyevs from Zainsk have carried their love through the years, raised three children, and have become an example for all of Zainsk. Once, they sat at the same desk in school No. 4. Back then, they did not yet know that a long journey awaited them: 22 years of a happy marriage, three wonderful children, and recognition as one of the strongest families in our city. Today, they are living proof that love, respect, and personal example become a solid foundation for a true family.

      Their front and their rear. Vyacheslav Alexandrovich is an honorary builder of Tatarstan, whose work has been recognized with letters of gratitude from the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan and the President of Tatarstan himself. His wife, Ekaterina Valeryevna, is the head of the "Russia Works" Human Resources Center for the Zainsk district, a high-level professional. She is also the winner of the republican competition "Woman of the Year" in the "Mother" nomination. In her life, career does not compete with motherhood – they go hand in hand, making the world around brighter.

      The main challenge for the family began with the onset of the special military operation. Already in October 2022, Vyacheslav, without hesitation, went with a team from our republic to restore the destroyed cities: Mariupol, Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Donetsk, and Makeevka. Over three years, with his participation, more than 130 residential buildings, two schools, and two multifunctional centers have been restored. "Each of us has our own front. I stayed in the rear, preserving our family hearth and raising the children, while my husband carried out an important mission to restore peaceful life in the new territories," Ekaterina shares. Meetings were rare. Several times she herself went to her husband in Lysychansk and Rubizhne. "What I saw leaves no one indifferent, and values acquire a completely different character," she admits.

      Parental support. A huge contribution to the fact that the Andreyev family has thrived belongs to the older generation. The parents are educators by vocation, who are still the main helpers today. "Our parents are warmth, wisdom, and life experience. They are always ready to help: to sit with the grandchildren, give advice, listen, and sometimes just feed us deliciously and be silent. This is very important," shares Ekaterina Valeryevna. She is convinced that in raising children, personal example is the most reliable way to pass on values. "Children teach us to live in the moment, not to give up, and to love unconditionally. Being genuine – that is the main credo I want to pass on to our children," she says.

      Three children – three different talents. Parents have much to be proud of. The eldest son, Daniil, is a fourth-year student at the St. Petersburg Law Institute (branch of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation). Graduating from school with honors, he is studying under a targeted program and will soon join the staff of the prosecutor's office of his native Tatarstan. He is a participant and winner of numerous scientific conferences, international forums, and legal competitions. Daughter Aleksandrina is the true energy of the family. At six years old, she won the title of "Miss Beauty" at a nationwide competition. Her leadership character, passion for athletics, and drawing make her a bright star at school. The youngest son, Miron, is gentle and tender, with a designer's mindset. He is interested in robotics and swimming, and very soon he will become a first-grader and sit at a school desk.

      Ekaterina Andreyeva is convinced: "Family is the world we create ourselves. I strive for it to be a kind, bright, and true place of strength, where everyone is accepted without judgment. This is a school of life: here we learn to forgive, care, and take responsibility. With experience, I have realized that all this can only be achieved through the gentle power of love. We accept children as they are, but at the same time, we gently and carefully guide them. It is important to preserve our inner world, our identity – and then the family becomes the source from which we draw inspiration and joy."

      Sport as a path to oneself. Ekaterina Andreyeva admits that after the birth of her youngest son, she realized that life no longer belonged to her. That’s how she came to yoga. "Getting up 30 minutes earlier than everyone else, six years ago, brought me back to myself." Today her interests are broader: skiing, cycling, strength training, wakeboarding, and snowboarding.

      "Physical activity is not only discipline but also what fills and inspires me to then give myself to my family. I am convinced that every person should have hobbies, and to organize others, one must start with oneself, with sports," she believes.

      Home – a place of strength. The mother of many children admits that home has become their fortress and place of strength: "Together with my husband, we create a space every day where everyone feels warm, safe, and accepted as they are. Building our home together has further strengthened our bond. I am grateful to my husband for the sense of security he provides our family, for his hard work, and for the atmosphere of warmth and comfort. And when love fills everything around – the spouse, children, parents, colleagues, the home, and life itself – it radically changes the view of the world, filling it with bright colors and profound meaning."
