      The Kazan inter-district environmental prosecutor's office conducted an inspection of the enforcement of legislation regarding the procedure for considering citizens' appeals. It was established that an official of the administration of the Vysokogorsky municipal district did not ensure an objective and comprehensive consideration of the appeal from a participant in the special military operation regarding the protection of a spring in the village of Aldermash; a substantive response to the questions raised in the appeal was not provided, and no measures were taken to eliminate the violations of the law. In order to hold the official accountable for violating the constitutional right of a citizen to appeal to state authorities, the environmental prosecutor filed a lawsuit. According to the ruling of the environmental prosecutor, the guilty official was held administratively liable under Article 5.59 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of the procedure for considering citizens' appeals) with a penalty of a fine of 5,000 rubles. To eliminate the violations of the law, the environmental prosecutor submitted a representation to the head of the local self-government body, which is currently under consideration.
