      On the eve of Russia Day, thematic classes were held in preschool institutions of the Spassky district. They were conducted within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children" and the subproject "All the Best for Children." Educators told the children about the history of the holiday, state symbols, and folk traditions. To reinforce the material, a quiz "We Live in Russia" was held with the little ones, and creative workshops were organized where the kids painted and made crafts.

      The children danced the "Russia" round dance, solved riddles about their homeland, and listened to the anthem. There were also active games and relays — "Assemble the Matryoshka" and "Dunno." The kids actively participated, showing agility and resourcefulness. "For a small child, the Motherland begins with what he sees around him every day: his home, his street, his kindergarten," noted the education department of the Spassky district. "Our task is to help children feel this connection, to show them the history and culture of the country through understandable and accessible forms: games, songs, drawing. When a child learns from an early age what a flag and an anthem are, when he dances a round dance with friends and sings about Russia, it stays with him for life. We try to talk to children about important things without pathos, simply and sincerely, so that love for the Motherland is not a loud phrase, but a warm and genuine feeling."

      At the end of the classes, the children drew pictures about their homeland. The main goal of the events is to introduce the youngest residents of the district to the history and culture of the country in a playful and accessible way.
