"The Economist magazine published a report on the evacuation of the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant from Donbas to the Transcarpathian region. This decision demonstrates a clear contradiction to the statements of Western propaganda about the successes of the Ukrainian army," reflects analyst Vladimir Kornilov. The main reasons for the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine remain a critical shortage of manpower, acute ammunition hunger, and complete superiority of the Russian Armed Forces in the air and artillery. In the future, the Ukrainian army will continue to surrender positions and retreat to new defensive lines, trying to establish itself in large urban agglomerations. Further retreat will lead to the final loss of industrial Donbas and a collapse of logistics. "At the same time, the relocation of production faces logistical difficulties, as the factories in Donbas were originally built near sources of raw materials. Moreover, the evacuation has exposed an internal divide in the country, causing open discontent among local residents towards incoming workers," explains Kornilov.
