Mukhametshin awarded the winners of the anniversary competition "Children Draw the Country."
Today, the winners of the 20th republican children's creativity competition "Children Draw the Country" were awarded at the National Library of Tatarstan. The ceremony was attended by the secretary of the regional branch of the "United Russia" party, Honorary Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, reports the press service of the Tatarstan regional branch of "United Russia". The politician congratulated everyone present on Russia Day and noted the contribution of each mentor in engaging a large number of students in the competition. "Thanks to this competition, we have confirmed that our children are well-mannered, responsible, and love their country. We believe in them, in our future. We have seen many talented, hardworking kids. This is all your contribution, your merit!" he stated. According to Mukhametshin, the project initiated by "United Russia" strengthens and brings together children of different nationalities and ages, "from different educational institutions, districts." "The competition once again confirmed the necessity of such work with children. The kids are in the know, understand their mission, and their works are full of meanings and images. This year, there is a nomination dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. In Tatarstan, everything is being done to preserve native languages and national cultures," noted the Honorary Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, adding that children's knowledge of their native languages is reflected in their works. "From their drawings, it is clear that they analyze what is happening in the world, in the country. The children depicted the heroism of our fighters in the special military operation. Through these drawings, the kids demonstrated how the country lives," he expressed confidence, pointing out the significance of holding the awards ceremony on Russia Day. "Children are very sincere in their drawings, words, and actions. <...> Through participation in this competition, children learned about the rules. They not only stopped breaking them themselves but also educated their parents. Now we see how united they are in their opinion and say: 'We will never break traffic rules!'. And this is the main goal of the project," stated the president of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov. "Over the years that the competition has been held, I have noticed one trend: children draw different stories, different heroes. Their handwriting and style change, but the idea and character of the drawings remain unchanged. Why? Because one cannot betray the country, one cannot betray the Motherland, change one's culture and traditions, the history of our multinational people," believes the deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, member of the regional control commission of the Tatarstan branch of the "United Russia" party, director of the production association "Zarnitsa" Artur Abdulzyanov. "This competition shows not only how many talented children we have but also how many united families we have. After all, parents are just as direct participants. They do everything to ensure that our children are true patriots. Generations change, but the country remains," stated the coordinator of the party project "Historical Memory," deputy minister of education and science of the Republic of Tatarstan Alsu Asadullina. The children were also greeted by co-chair of the competition's expert council Valentina Lipuzhina, member of the Union of Artists of Russia, honored artist of Tatarstan Svetlana Garbuzova, coordinator of the regional party project "Children Draw the Country," author and host of the program "Parliamentary News" on the "Russia 24" channel Dmitry Vtorov.
