      The implementation period for the municipal program "Digital Transformation of Accounting Services for Municipal Institutions of Kazan" has been extended until 2028. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of the executive committee of Kazan, Rustem Gafarov. The program has been in effect since 2022 and aims to transition accounting processes to a digital format, as well as to create a unified accounting system for municipal institutions. The Center for Accounting Services for Municipal Institutions of Kazan is responsible for its implementation. A budget of 2.76 billion rubles from the city budget is allocated for the program from 2022 to 2028. In 2026, 384.7 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes, in 2027 - 384.8 million rubles, and in 2028 - 385 million rubles.

      The program is part of the "Digital Accounting" project, which has been implemented in Kazan since 2020. It involves the introduction of modern digital technologies, electronic document management, and unified accounting standards.

      It is planned that by 2028, centralized accounting services will cover 596 municipal institutions in the city. In addition, all accounting services should transition to an electronic format. It is expected that digitalization will help make accounting more transparent and accurate, speed up the preparation of reports, reduce the use of paper documents, and increase the efficiency of budget spending.

      Let us remind you that Tatarstan will be the first to implement full digital integration of data on heritage sites. The plans for digitalization were shared in March by the head of the RT Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, Ivan Gushchin.
