In the city of Laishево, work has begun to restore the "Kamskoye More" beach, which was damaged after a severe storm that occurred at the end of April in the waters of the Kuibyshev Reservoir. The strong winds and high waves significantly damaged the coastline of the popular recreation area Kamskoye More (beach): the sandy covering was partially washed away, and the infrastructure was affected. Today, June 15, the contracting organization has started the restoration work. Equipment is being used on-site, sand is being delivered, and a beach embankment is being constructed to restore the damaged section of the shore. According to preliminary data, the work will take about 10 days.
Due to the repairs, temporary restrictions have been introduced. A section of Naberezhnaya Street is closed – from Lebedeva Street to Chernyshevsky Street, and parking is also prohibited in this segment. In the near future, the coastal area will be fenced off to ensure the safety of residents and visitors to the city. The administration of the Laishевский district asks for understanding regarding the temporary inconveniences and requests that people do not enter the closed area.
The "Kamskoye More" beach is one of the most visited recreational spots in Tatarstan. Its length is 890 meters, and during the summer season, up to 20,000 people relax here daily. After the work is completed, the beach will be reopened to visitors. The date of resumption will be announced later.
