Already in October 2026, the Nizhny Novgorod region will host participants of the district rally "No One is Forgotten," which will bring together young people engaged in commemorating the defenders of the Fatherland. The tradition of holding this forum originated back in 2014. This time, participants will be searchers aged 16 to 30. The qualifying stages at the regional level will last until the beginning of autumn, after which the best representatives of the teams will go to the final rally, which will take place from October 14 to 17. The competition program will require young people not only theoretical knowledge but also excellent practical training. The list of challenges includes: archival search and work with documents, basics of topography and skills in navigating the terrain, first aid rules and safety techniques, and proper documentation of field findings. Teams will also present their "business cards" and organize exhibitions showcasing the results of their work in the past field season. The project aims not only to teach searchers new competencies but also to strengthen patriotic values among the younger generation. As emphasized by the Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Vladislav Usanov, search activities are a vital mission that helps preserve the historical truth about the feats of ancestors and the workers on the home front who forged Victory during the Great Patriotic War. In turn, the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, Oleg Mashkovtsev, stressed the importance of systematic educational work in educational institutions. According to him, universities and colleges should actively involve students in the activities of large public movements, such as the "Movement of the First," Russian student brigades, and the "Search Movement of Russia." Ensuring such activity is one of the priority tasks, as participation in such projects plays a key role in forming a strong and conscious personality.
