      In recent years, the social protection system in Russia has undergone significant changes aimed at simplifying citizens' access to social services. One of the key steps was the signing of a decree by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, which abolishes the need to collect certificates for receiving social support. Now, government agencies will obtain the necessary information through inter-agency information interaction, which will significantly simplify the process of assigning benefits and payments.

       Key achievements Reduction of poverty level: In Tatarstan, the level of people with low incomes has decreased to 3% (130,000 people), which is a significant achievement compared to the 2000s when every third resident of the republic had low incomes. This became possible due to systematic work and the implementation of targeted support programs. Increase in the number of large families: Over the past 10 years, the number of large families in the republic has more than doubled, reaching 53,900. Families now receive all forms of support regardless of income, including benefits for housing and communal services and free medications for children under six years old. Electronic services: As of today, 93% of social services are provided electronically. The creation of a social register of the population has allowed tracking income, property, and family composition, which has significantly simplified the process of receiving assistance. Innovative approaches One of the most significant innovations has been the social contract, which not only provides financial assistance but also trains citizens, helping them start their own businesses. For example, in the Baltasinsky district of Tatarstan, social contracts were directed towards the production of homemade noodles, leading to the creation of an entire hub for national cuisine. Participants in such programs become taxpayers and start hiring neighbors, contributing to the development of the local economy.
