      On June 21, the Republican holiday of Mordovian culture "Valda Shinyas" will take place in the village of Kildyushevo in the Tetyushi district, coinciding with the day of the summer solstice. This was announced during a press conference at the information agency "Tatar-inform."

      According to Damir Natfullin, the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the event will once again unite representatives of Mordovian culture — this year, 22 folklore groups from Tatarstan and other regions of Russia will participate in the festival. He noted that the holiday is updated annually, acquiring new forms and bright elements, making it increasingly spectacular and interesting for guests. Natalia Sabitova, Deputy Chair of the Council of the Assembly of Peoples of Tatarstan, shared that the program will begin with an outdoor theatrical performance, during which the audience will immerse themselves in the world of ancient Mordovian traditions, customs, and rituals. Throughout the day, guests can expect national games, performances by creative groups, tastings of traditional dishes, and workshops where they can try their hand at creating Mordovian decorations and costume elements.

      The holiday "Valda Shinyas," which translates as "Bright Day," has been held in Kildyushevo for many years and has become an important event in the cultural life of the region, contributing to the preservation and popularization of the uniqueness of the Mordovian people.
