The republic is the largest region in the Volga Federal District and has eight neighbors. "In our district, for one import train, we are ready to send five export trains," the speaker remarked. Khamifov suggested that forum participants use Tatarstan as a logistics hub. As further arguments, he noted that railways run around the perimeter of the republic, and the largest federal highways – M-12, M-7, M-5 – pass through the republic. "We have built a significant road network. The Sviyazhsky multimodal complex is a modern area, residents are actively occupying the sites, and we invite you to become residents," Khamifov said. The republic has two major international airports, and the largest trunk oil and gas pipelines run through Tatarstan. "To develop industry and trade, it is necessary to create the most convenient and comfortable conditions – road and rail, river and sea, air transport. You will find all of this in the republic," Khamifov concluded.
