The former historical building of the bailiffs on Yakhina in Kazan will be occupied by Rosprirodnadzor.

      The historic building in the center of Kazan at 3 Rustem Yakhin Street, where the office of the Main Department of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Republic of Tatarstan (GUFSSP) was previously located, is set to be renovated by December 1 of this year. In the future, the Volga-Kama Interregional Office of Rosprirodnadzor will be located in the building. This was reported to the correspondent of "BUSINESS Online" by the press service of the Main Investment and Construction Management of the Republic of Tatarstan (GISU). Currently, the roof of the two-story building is being replaced. Additionally, the facade of the first floor is being renovated. According to data from the state procurement portal, the cost of the capital repairs is 108.6 million rubles. The contract includes not only the renovation of the building itself but also the purchase of furniture, equipment, and inventory, as well as the improvement of the adjacent territory. The contractor is Kazan's LLC "Arkada Stroy Universal."

      What is known about the contractor

      LLC "Arkada Stroy Universal" has been operating in Kazan since August 2015. The main type of activity is building construction. The company belongs to Pavel Karabanov. Last year, according to data from the "Kontur. Focus" service, the company's revenue decreased by 3% to 7.5 billion rubles. The net profit amounted to 54.3 million rubles. "Arkada Stroy Universal" is one of the largest "kings of government contracts." The company has previously worked on the renovation of the State Council building of the Republic of Tatarstan. The firm was also responsible for preparing the Water Sports Palace for the BRICS Games and for the capital repairs of the administration building of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts. In addition, Karabanov's company is building a school for 192 students in the village of Chernyshevskaya in the Vysokogorsky district, a children's educational organization in the "Yashlek" microdistrict, a kindergarten in Vasilyevo, and a multifunctional center building in the Laishevsky district.

      Recall that last autumn, the GUFSSP for Tatarstan moved to the building of the former children's department of the Republican Clinical Infectious Disease Hospital at 10 Okolnaya Street. After that, the department completely vacated the premises on Rustem Yakhin Street.

      The building on Yakhin has a history of over a century. According to open data, in 1914 it belonged to the merchant of Mariinsky Posad Fyodor Gaidukov, and it housed furnished rooms. Over the years, it has housed the timber floating school of the USSR Narcomlesprom, a military postal sorting point of the NKVD, and a military commissariat. Despite the fact that the object is not included in the register of cultural heritage sites, it is included in the list of historically valuable urban-forming objects of Kazan. This excludes the possibility of demolition and significantly limits changes to its external appearance.
